Do I need to book?
Booking is essential via our website. Your ticket is for 1x parent or carer and 1x baby to attend 6 session run on a weekly basis, on the course you have selected.
Spaces are extremely limited, so booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
How much does it cost?
Tickets cost £35. Your ticket is for 1x parent or carer and 1x baby to attend the whole 6 week course, weekly handouts and a free bottle of oil.
What age is Baby Massage suitable for?
Baby massage is suitable for 0 to crawling, but is best started when the baby is 4-6 weeks of age.
How long is each session?
Each session lasts around 45minutes, starting with introductions, approx 20mins massage, followed by discussion and ending with a simple relaxation. Please bear in mind, that some babies (just like you) may not be in the mood for baby massage on the day - please don't let this put you off, you are welcome to stay and watch the session and still enjoy the company of the group.
What do we wear for the sessions?
Parents - loose, light, comfortable clothing, as you conduct the sessions sitting/kneeling on the floor. Feel free to bring a cushion or knee pad.
Babies - babies are massaged wearing only their nappies. Please bring along a towel to lay baby on.
Massage oils and mats will be provided.
Do you cater for special requirements?
You will be asked to complete a questionnaire at the beginning of the Baby Massage session which will help us determine if any alterations are needed in the routine. Please contact us beforehand with any special requirements for you and your baby. This will enable us to cater for your specific needs.
Do you serve food and drinks?
There is not currently refreshments offered during class, however there is conveniently located coffee shop, The Reading Rooms, as you enter the building. As well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milkshakes and soft drinks they offer a wide selection of cakes, savoury snacks from toasties to baguettes and sandwiches.
What is your refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable due to The Hall having to be booked regardless of whether people are able to attend on the day or are able to fully take part in a session. If a session needs to be cancelled by the organiser, due to unforeseen circumstances and an alternative date is not available, a full refund will be given.
